We biked as a large extended family (8 people) with younger kids ages 5 and 7. It was so well organized. The younger kids enjoyed it as much as everybody else. 5-year old had her own bike, but when she got tired her bike easily attached to an adult bike (effectively becomes a trailer bike). Such a clever solution; not sure why not used in US. And when she got even more tire, she just jump to a bicycle seat. 7 year old did all the biking himself. So, if you have kids that age – no worries – they will love it. Everything else was also perfect – hotels; those really nice German bikes, trail selection, everything. We needed help on the road once. Emiel was on the phone right away, and solved what looked to us as a large problem in 5 minutes (creativity + knowledge of how things work 🙂 ).
