This video is just so sweet. Chris’ parents had traveled to Amsterdam after getting married and brought home 4 figurines of existing Amsterdam Canal Houses. After being fascinated by them his whole life (27 years) he finally made it to Amsterdam and decided to go search the real houses behind them.
It is a lovely and informative video about the Dutch architecture. These type of canal houses do not only exist in Amsterdam but in many other towns and cities as well.
When cycling in the Netherlands we will make sure to include seeing such architecture along the way!
