Cycling 600 miles in the Netherlands
James Brown cycled 600 miles around the Netherlands in one week for charity. What a fantastic achievement! You can also enjoy the beauty of the Dutch landscapes- historic cities and cycling infrastructure while going on a multiple day cycling tour with Holland Bike Tours.
James’600 miles ride is not uncommon in the Netherlands. The Dutch infrastructure contains over 37000 km of cycling paths. No, you don’t have to worry of cycling on the same roads as cars. Most of the cycling paths in the Netherlands are designated cycling paths and when cycling in polders, forests, on dikes and coastal roads, the cars won’t even be anywhere near you. Complete silence and safety apart from the other cyclist you’ll meet on the road. A friendly nod and ‘hallo’ is common to share when coming across another cyclist (or hiker).
