Please read this if you’re contemplating riding bicycles in the Netherlands- This was our 4th trip in Holland, 3rd Tour company (how not to run a company) and HBT is 1st and only one to use!!
HBT designed a 28 day self guided tour based upon our criteria of what cities/locations and kilometers per day. They responded with a package in which we upgraded on hotels, added days for sightseeing and relaxation.
The Bicycles were excellent, comfortable and adjusted for our riding positions upon arrival. The equipment: GPS, loaded with each tour day; panniers, twist shifting, brakes etc. were introduced and explained. The Tour Book contains all information and a brief overview of the route. The routes have incredible scenery, bicycle routes are marked with signs, the only thing to do is enjoy your Holiday
If you choose HBT you will enjoy all aspects of your day. You will not worry about the rental bicycle not working or the right size, your hotel will be ideally located, your route is clearly supported by GPS/maps and you will feel that the Netherlands is perhaps the greatest place to ride!
