The museum is home to the second-largest collection of works by Vincent van Gogh in the world, featuring nearly 90 paintings and more than 180 drawings. In addition to Van Gogh, the collection includes masterpieces by modern artists such as Claude Monet, Georges Seurat, Pablo Picasso, and Piet Mondriaan.
The Kröller-Müller Museum is the legacy of Helene Kröller-Müller, who, between 1907 and 1922, along with her husband Anton Kröller, acquired nearly 11,500 works of art. This vast collection ranks among the largest private art collections of the 20th century.
The museum is also surrounded by one of Europe’s largest sculpture gardens, a 25-hectare outdoor space where modern sculptures find a perfect home. The garden features over 160 sculptures by renowned artists like Auguste Rodin, Henry Moore, Jean Dubuffet, and Joep van Lieshout.
