Mid September 2019 my wife and I did the East-West ride, spending 9 days enjoying riding the varied terrain. The weather was perfect, tourist season was over and other than the locals we had the trails mostly to ourselves. We are mid 60’s,fairly fit and rode road bikes. We also upgraded to premium hotels. It all worked out great. We have been on a bunch of Backroad trips and enjoyed this ride more. It is better to be on your own and not with a tour.
The equipment support was appreciated. Our GPS unit malfunctioned and the owner of Holland Bike Tours drove across the country to meet us and replace the unit. Well done and we give a 100% recommendation!
